Meet the Team

Brian was born and raised in Iowa and grew up in the small town of Ida Grove. He graduated from Iowa State University with a BBA in Finance, and his family is four for four in attending ISU. They enjoy following Cyclone football, basketball, golf and wrestling.

Brian spent the first nine years of his career in banking and finance, with roles at Wells Fargo and U.S. Bank spanning retail banking, credit analysis, business banking and mid-market commercial lending. He ultimately served as a Vice President and voting member of the loan committee.

Today, as President, Brian continues to spend much of his time on the road building relationships with agencies across the country. He is passionate about growing IFC as an independent company centered on service, trust and long-term partnerships.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys playing and evaluating golf courses and serves as a course rater for GOLF DIGEST. He also spent time as a high school and collegiate wrestling official.

The American Pit Bull Terrier is a loyal, energetic and affectionate breed known for its muscular build, intelligence and strong connection with people. Originally developed in the 19th century, the breed has a rich history and has become a beloved companion for families across the country.

Known for their athleticism and determination, American Pit Bull Terriers thrive in active environments where they receive regular exercise, mental stimulation and consistent training. Their eagerness to learn and desire to please make them excellent candidates for obedience training, agility competitions and other canine activities.

Today, American Pit Bull Terriers continue to win over owners with their playful personalities, enthusiasm and devotion to their families. With proper socialization, responsible ownership and positive reinforcement, these dogs can develop into well-mannered, confident and loving companions.

Outside of structured activities, American Pit Bull Terriers enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring new environments and relaxing alongside their favorite people. Whether playing fetch, swimming or simply lounging at home, their affectionate nature and spirited personalities make them memorable companions.

Julie serves as Vice President of Agency Services and brings more than three decades of experience with IFC. She works closely with agents to provide hands-on support, from helping facilitate quotes to resolving challenges quickly and keeping the financing process moving. Her long-standing commitment to IFC and its agency partners has also earned her the IFC Loyalty Award.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys traveling, staying active and spending time with friends. Most of all, she cherishes time with her two granddaughters, grandson and her fur baby.
